St. John's to host The Truth Project

Can you handle the Truth?

Only 9 percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. This is according to a recent research study. Because of this, today's believers live very similarly to non-believers. A personal sense of significance is rarely experienced, we spend our money and time on things that fail to satisfy and we begin to wonder what life's ultimate purpose really is. We are, in short, losing our bearings as a people and a nation.

Therefore the St. John's Lutheran will present Focus on the Family's The Truth Project.

The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett. This home study is the starting point for looking at life from a biblical perspective. Each lesson discusses in great detail the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life.

We believe you will be challenged and stimulated in ways that will refresh and renew your faith and give you a new boldness to proclaim the TRUTH.

We invite you to be a part of this cultural change by participating in a small group.
We will be repeating this project through out the year and some groups are already engaged in the process.

The Tuesday night men’s group has begun the study. The Kittleman’s small group just started this study on Sunday evenings and we will begin a new group for early service church goers on Sunday morning starting at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11:00 a.m.

We will be running this study throughout the year so watch for new times and places as they are posted in the bulletin or on the Parish ED/Faith at Home bulletin board.

Mrs. Debbie Kolberg’s 25 Years of Ministry

Dear Friends, Family Members, and supporters of St. John’s Lutheran School and Church: Please join us as we celebrate Mrs. Debbie Kolberg’s 25 Years of Ministry at St. John’s Lutheran School on March 14 after our 10:30 worship service with a luncheon, fellowship and renewal of friendships. 25 years of dedicated, faithful service to one congregation is quite a milestone for a servant of the Lord. If it is impossible to join us, please send any notes of congratulations or well wishes to lharvey@sjlcs.org. Please RSVP to me by March 8.
Joyfully in Christ, Laura Harvey
