Grand Chili Cook-off to benefit the St. John’s Youth

Do you love to entertain?  Here’s a chance to show your style---for a great cause!
The Fellowship Board of St. John’s Lutheran is ready to welcome Table Hosts for a Grand Chili Cook-off to benefit the St. John’s Youth team headed for New Orleans this summer.  Mark your calendar now for Saturday, March 6, with festivities starting at 6:30 pm for appetizers and social time.
Things begin to heat up at 7 pm when the chili tasting begins.

What does it take to be a Table Host?  You, or a team of your friends, will get to:
ü      Cook up a batch of your best chili, enough to feed 15 people.
ü      Decorate your table in a chili theme, any way you like!  This is a great chance
to show your creativity with whatever strikes your fancy!
ü      Invite 10 friends, family, and guests to sit at your table.  Ticket price is a bargain at $10.00 per person.
ü      Show off one copy of your ‘secret’ recipe as your chili is entered in the contest for the best chili in the house!

Not ready to host a table but want to join the fun?  Great!  Your $10.00 will get you:
ü      Chili tastings
ü      Salad
ü      Bread
ü      Dessert
ü      Beverages
ü      And 10 tickets to vote for your favorite chili.  If 10 votes aren’t enough, more votes can be purchased that night!

Want to sign up or need more information?  Check the Fellowship Bulletin Board in the Fellowship Hall (by the front door) or call Barbara Scheck at 850-8551 or
Sharon Rothe at 847-6908.

We hope to see you there!
